As a university athlete, Dino captained the Simon Fraser University football team and immediately following his tenure as a student-athlete he began a coaching career in football and
strength & conditioning that progressed for 14 years at S.F.U. In his quest for continued development, Dino has recently joined the U.B.C. Thunderbirds as the football team's new
Defensive Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator.
In past years, Dino has worked as a weight training instructor, lifeguard, swim instructor, and coach.
He also holds a bachelor's degree from S.F.U. and a master's degree in educational leadership from San Diego State University. Over the years, Dino has developed a definitive passion for
mental toughness and developing this toughness in individuals and teams. As a certified strength and conditioning specialist, he has gained valuable experience through working with athletes in
several sports including football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. Dino is a certified personal trainer who specializes in team and individual sport-specific training.
